I see its finally out. My question is if I purchase it through here for the mobile will my progress reset or will the update just patch it? if my progress resets I might as well get it on Steam.
If I paid 3000 to the dwarf and don't aceptes his offer for 300 and own him a favor, does that favor unlocked content? I missed it? Should I start again?
1. Janet can make 1 revitalizer with 2 mana nectars (so make sure to bring 6 nectars)
2. Complete Melkor's tomb first, then the quest you receive after that. You'll get a new spell. Charge it first by simply fighting, then use it on the monster and defeat it

1.0 will come with a "New Game Plus" option that will trigger when old saves (pre-1.0) are loaded, so the following things can be carried to a new playthrough and the reworked questlines can be enjoyed:
I love this game and eagerly await the 1.0 launch in November. If you liked this, I suggest you seek Randel Tales and What a Legend, depending on what facets of the game you enjoyed. Maybe Love and Sex: Second Base, although that would be a stretch.

I just took a quick glance at their Pateron page. They last made a post on their Pateron page in February of this year. They could be more activate on X or Discord, I do not have a X account so I cannot see it. And I limited my Discord to just people I know. My point being, I do not know if they are active elsewhere.
I have seen games go long periods of time between updates. There last post being a some months ago this, we are on the long end of the spectrum. Yet did see one game it took a person about a year to finished an update. So currently not the longest gap I have seen between info updates.
It is possible something came up, and had been busy dealing with that. Maybe check again every months, or sometime next year if there if any news. Based on what I have seen with other game development, it could still go either way at this point.

Both Steam/Itch will load your save and offer you to do a "New Game +" where you carry all items/XP/Gold.
How will steam load my mobile progress?

You won't lose your save, although it is highly recommended to start from the beginning since the storyline will get reworked in 1.0.
